BBNaija 10/10: Nostalgia & Nominations Rock the Big Brother House

This week’s theme in the Big Brother House is Nostalgia, and the housemates are diving deep into the past with a tribute to veteran Nollywood stars.

The week kicked off with a battle for Head of House. Doris first snagged the title as the Interim Head of House after correctly identifying the most former housemates during the challenge. However, her reign was short-lived, as Zita claimed victory during Monday’s Snakes and Ladders game, securing the official Head of House spot.

The nomination blues quickly followed. As always, housemates hunted for the immunity envelope, but luck wasn’t on anyone’s side. None of them found the envelope containing immunity, which means everyone is up for possible eviction this week, except Zita as HOH; Jason Jae, who remains safe as last week’s Most Influential Housemate; and Faith and Mensan, who were both saved by Zita using the Tree of Trinkets’ power.

In line with the Nostalgia theme, the housemates have taken on the personas of legendary Nollywood stars. From Kola stepping into Nkem Owoh’s shoes, Mide channelling Patience Ozokwor, and Koyin as Paw Paw, to Tracy embodying Sola Sobowale, and Bright taking on Pete Edochie, Zita is channelling Nkiru Sylvanus, Imisi is bringing Funke Akindele’s energy, Kulture has taken on Kanayo O. Kanayo, Kaybobo is acting as Tony Umez, Sultana is Eucharia Anunobi, Gigi Jasmine is Genevieve Nnaji, Joanna is Omotola Jalade, Thelma Lawson is Rita Dominic, Ivatar as Mercy Johnson, and Rooboy is Jim Iyke. The house is brimming with throwback vibes.

To seal the nostalgia, Biggie pulled a fan-favourite move, bringing back the famous parrot that’s bound to stir conversations and ruffle feathers once again. This week is shaping up to be an interesting one.
