Oluwatoyin Oluwapelumi is a graduate from the University of Ilorin, where she studied Business Administration. During her service last year, she developed a passion for cooking and baking, which ultimately inspired her to launch her business in bread making.
At the beginning she said: “A friend of mine encouraged me to apply early for the GTCO food and drink vendors space, and upon contacting the committee, I received a congratulatory message, indicating that I was selected as a strategic participant”.
“This acknowledgement was significant to me, as it reinforced the idea that dedication and effort can lead to success, even if one is not yet at their desired destination. I firmly believe that by consistently working hard every day, I will eventually achieve my goals”.
Though many individuals applied, Oluwapelumi consider herself fortunate to be chosen as one of the vendors. This represents a remarkable opportunity, not only for financial gain but also for the exposure and brand awareness it offers. to her and her brand.
Speaking further Oluwapelumi reveals that to be candid this exposure allows her to introduce her brand to a wider audience with high expectations for patronage by the end of the day.

Another brand, Rocky’s, brand has recorded strong customer engagement since the start of the festival, with an encouraging level of turnout. He noted that the GTCO Food & Drink Festival has long been familiar to him, having attended previous editions as a guest before launching his business.
He also explained that he learned about vendor participation through social media and his existing relationship with GTBank.
