GTCO Food & Drink Festival Holiday Edition Redefines Family-Centred Festive Experience

The GTCO Food & Drink Festival – Holiday Edition has ended in Lagos, attracting thousands of visitors and redefining how festive celebrations can combine food, family, culture, and enterprise in an inclusive public setting.

With free entry to the event, families from across the city were able to enjoy a premium holiday experience without financial barriers. Attractions such as the Children’s Play Zone, Christmas Village, and interactive food courts created a safe and engaging environment for both adults and children throughout the festival period.

The event also served as a major platform for Nigerian food entrepreneurs, featuring 213 local food and beverage vendors selected from over 4,000 applicants nationwide. Through GTCO’s zero-cost participation model, small businesses gained direct access to a large consumer audience, boosting sales and brand visibility during the festive season.

Visitors were treated to a wide variety of Nigerian cuisines, from traditional delicacies to contemporary food innovations, reinforcing the Festival’s role in celebrating the country’s cultural identity while elevating indigenous food to a global-standard platform.

The Holiday Edition reflects GTCO’s evolving vision for the Food & Drink Festival as more than a food event, but a lifestyle and enterprise platform that supports SMEs, strengthens community engagement, and contributes to Lagos’ growing creative and tourism economy.
